About

Our Greener Life is dedicated to spreading knowledge of living in a more sustainable and earth-friendly manner. It is written from the perspective of a married couple, who are on the path to a greener life. It is our hope that we can raise awareness of environmental issues, such as global warming, by exploring topics of sustainable living and our experience of integrating those ideas into our life.

Our Greener Life will discuss a wide variety of topics such as: sustainability, permaculture, composting, recycling, gardening, organic and natural food, transportation, climate change and eco-friendly products.

Ron will be studying Landscape Architecture in the Fall at University of New Mexico. Lori is an aspiring English Middle School teacher. We have been married for 4 years and have been a couple for 9 years. After living in Raleigh, NC for 3 years, we just recently moved to Albuquerque, NM. We love our new digs and have been happily exploring the city.

Our road to greener living is a new one – just within the past year. We don’t consider ourselves extreme, just regular people who want to help the planet. We just take things one day at a time, and try to start with small things that can help. You gotta start somewhere, right?

    Hi,

I am interested in publishing some Energy Efficiency related content on ourgreenerlife.com on behalf our client British Gas (the UK’s leading energy and Home Services provider) who have a commitment to not only play thier part in cutting emissions, but to also provide ways for their customers to be more energy efficient and to reduce their carbon footprint as well.

For a site such as ourgreenerlife.com we would pay £90 per month, every month for a small image and text based banner on your homepage and up to 2 Energy Efficiency articles linked to from the homepage. The articles will of course be relevant to your site, and topics could include ‘Your Carbon Footprint ’ or ‘Energy Efficient Home’.

To see how the banner and article links might look on your home page please see the British Gas banner on ultimatehandyman.co.uk (in the bottom left corner), and the articles ‘upgrade you boiler’ and ‘reduce your carbon footprint’ at the very bottom of the page.

Naturally, you would have a say in what content is placed on your site, and you always maintain editorial control. The articles are always completely original as they are written in-house by our team of copywriters, and we have several banner creative’s that we could use, including the standard 125×125 and 468×60 as well as smaller and larger banners.

If you feel this is an opportunity that you are willing to discuss further or if you have any questions about this proposition then please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks,

    Hi!

(I would have sent you an email, but I couldn’t find contact information)

Although you haven’t updated it in a while, I have enjoyed reading through your blog. I was wondering if you would consider adding my site Green Goings (http://www.greenstoreandmore.com/greengoings) under your Blogroll section. We strive to be a blog that offers general green information and green reviews.

Regardless of your decision, I really do enjoy your site. Have a great day!

    Dear Our Greener Life,

My name is Bill Hawthorne, and I represent maacenter.org, a leading web resource for asbestos exposure and mesothelioma cancer information. Our organization is dedicated to increasing awareness of the terrible health consequences of asbestos exposure.

I found your site through a search and decided to contact you because of its high environmental and green presence which is extremely important in our movement. The promotion of how buildings should now be built using sustainable green products to avoid asbestos and mesothelioma as well as the awareness of past buildings and preventative steps in avoiding asbestos exposure are extremely important. My goal is to get a resource link on your site or even to provide a guest posting to be placed.

I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to check out our website. Thank you for your time and consideration.
